Bob Johnson, a long time Groton resident and Grotonfest Volunteer died unexpectedly on May 17, 2020, at the age of 66. Bob was an integral part of the Operations and Logistics team, volunteering as a member of the field staff for as long as anyone can remember. From helping people into their booth, to directing traffic, to resolving vendor placement issues, Bob was always there to lend a helping hand. We all remember Bob fondly for his willingness to go out of his way for others, hard work, and his dry sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by vendors, staff, volunteers, and management of Grotonfest. Bob was passionate about his military service and fellow veterans. As such, anyone wishing to make a donation in his name should contact the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Charitable Service Trust, 3725 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring, KY 41076 https://cst.dav.org or Wounded Warriors Family Support, 11218 John Galt Boulevard Suite 103 Omaha, NE 68137
