Exciting news! GrotonFest Kids is the newest addition to our festival family—a special event designed by a kid, for kids!
This incredible festival was inspired by a 12-year-old entrepreneur who attended her first GrotonFest in Fall 2024, and dreamed of a space where young creators, makers, and innovators could shine.
GrotonFest Kids is the ultimate platform for “Kidpreneurs” aged six to sixteen to take their first steps into the world of business—and have a blast while doing so!
The Groton Business Association is thrilled to bring this opportunity to young entrepreneurs from Groton and surrounding towns, giving them the chance to launch, create, and grow their own businesses.
At GrotonFest Kids, you’ll get the tools, support, and a kid-only marketplace to showcase your brilliant ideas, handmade products, and creative services to the world.

Are you a young entrepreneur with a passion for creativity and business? Do you love making handmade gifts, décor, treats, accessories, or other unique products? Now’s your chance to shine at the first-ever GrotonFest Kids!
Happening alongside GrotonFest Spring, this exciting event gives young entrepreneurs a real-life festival experience, allowing them to launch their own businesses, connect with customers, and have fun while learning the ropes of entrepreneurship!
What You Need to Know:

Before the big day, GrotonFest Kids will offer interactive workshops to teach you everything you need to know about starting a business and running a booth.
Create an engaging booth experience!
Make your booth fun, eye-catching, and interactive to attract customers and showcase your brand!
Booth Size: 8–10 feet
Venue Considerations: Due to space limitations at The Prescott Community Center, Kidpreneurs should plan their setups accordingly.
Booth Setup:
Each booth space accommodates a 6-foot table
Prescott Community Center vendors: Bring your own table & chairs
Exhibitor & Vendor Review Process:
The Groton Business Association will review all applications to ensure a diverse mix of kid-run businesses and handmade products.
