Ami - The driving force behind GrotonFest Kids
Young Entrepreneur & Inspiration to Kidpreneurs
Ami is a 12-year-old “Kidpreneur” with a passion for business, creativity, and inspiring other kids to dream big.
Having lived internationally, she speaks three languages—a skill that has broadened her perspective and fueled her adventurous spirit.
She is the proud Owner of Lil’ Suga Candy, a sweet and colorful shop inside the eclectic vintage store Glorie Dayz on Main Street, Groton. Through her business, Ami brings joy to her community while learning the ins and outs of running a company at a young age.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Ami is a dedicated athlete who loves basketball, lacrosse, and track & field, always pushing herself to improve and compete at her best.
Currently, Ami is the driving force behind GrotonFest Kids, which will host its first-ever festival for Kidpreneurs, in May 2025. She is dedicated to helping young entrepreneurs succeed and will be leading a series of support sessions to teach kids how to start their own businesses and prepare for running a booth at GrotonFest Kids.
Her biggest goal? To inspire other kids to believe in themselves, take bold steps, and turn their ideas into reality—just like she did! Ami hopes to show young entrepreneurs everywhere that age is just a number when it comes to chasing dreams. 🚀✨
